My previous entry on Kim Dae Mun was based on my last visit to the Korean eatery before it shifted out of the food court. I’m back to satisfy my cravings for Korean cuisine at their new outlet, located at level two in the same building. From the guard desk located at the entrance, turn right and walk all the way to the end.
The ramyeon remains orgasmic and comforting for my hungry soul.
If your stomach still have space, why not order a serving of the fried dumplings? It goes very well with the ramyeon.
Dumpling soup makes a great dish on both hot days (no appetite) and rainy days (warms the body). I thought the dumpling soup is merely dumplings in soup but I’m glad to find out that the cook also added generous portion of vegetables, rice cakes and shredded chicken.
I recommend the steamed saba fish set meal. The fish is tender and has absorb the flavors of the sauce. The sauce is very similar to dakbokkeumtang and you can taste the beautiful flavors of the garlic, onions and chilli.
The set meal consist of soup, rice and a side dish of either anchovies or kimchi.
I love the new outlet of the Korean eatery as it is spacious and quiet. Though the prices of food have increased, the food remains affordable and tasty. If you are in the vicinity, why not drop by Kim Dae Mun for an authentic Korean meal? You wouldn’t be disappointed.
