Chicken Up (Tanjong Pagar)

I love chicken and I’ve been wanting to visit a eatery that serves delicious chicken dishes. After some research online, I decided to visit Chicken Up, a well known restaurant chain best known for serving Authentic Korean Fried Chicken in Singapore.

We had their popular buffet and ordered a few types of their Korean Fried Chicken. As the fried chicken are prepared upon order, it takes about 20 minutes of waiting for the chicken to be served.

20140326_193334This is their original Korean fried chicken, one of the fried chicken that we ate that evening. As we were starving so this is the only photograph that we took of the fried chicken pieces. The chicken are covered in a well flavored crispy batter though some of the fried chicken pieces tend to be a tad too dry for my liking.

20140326_193917Popcorn chicken is one of my most favorite fried chicken dish from Chicken. The fried chicken pieces are juicy and well coated with the flavorsome sauce.

20140326_193922I have a hard time deciding which version of the popcorn chicken is a better one for me. After some careful deliberation, I crowned the spicy version of popcorn chicken as the most delicious version of popcorn chicken.

20140326_193926The buffet deal also includes kimchi fried rice. It wasn’t amazing but I still managed to gobbled down two portions of rice. I suppose a meal is never complete without carbohydrates.

As the prices of the chicken dishes are slightly on the higher side, it is more worth to try their popular buffet. I managed to satisfy my cravings for chicken at Chicken Up and I enjoyed all the chicken dishes that I ordered that evening. I do hope to be back for another chicken feast very soon.
